A brain and spinal cord awareness event in support of our former client, catastrophic brain injury survivor, Rick Bye, renowned Canadian Racing Driver Champion in his quest to win the TARGA 2014

Rick Bye and Brian Donato of Roll WIth It Racing

ABOUT RICK BYE, BRIAN DONATO and the TARGA Newfoundland Race

Rick Bye teams up with Brian Donato, survivor of a spinal cord injury, with the goal of having Donato compete in the 2,200-kilometre Newfoundland Targa road rally race. Their message is a source of inspiration that we wish to share:

" For brain and spinal cord survivors everywhere,

together these two outstanding individuals

send a message that is beyond measure:

back in the driver's seat, back in control, back into life."

This year's outing to the Targa Newfoundland was considered a "shakedown cruise" for Brian and the team. He successfully completed the driving school, attended community events and took part in the Prologue. Rick believes that we have to properly prepare for the Targa so that Brian will have an extraordinary and safe experience.

We came to Newfoundland this year with that intention - of learning all that we would need to know; be confident that we will be properly prepared for the 2014 Targa.

We have learned a great deal from this experience. For Brian to successfully complete the  gruelling 5-day event and be involved in the community events at the end of each day, it is going to require a great deal of support and logistics.
