HAS OVER 40 YEARS experience in personal injury litigation and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. He has lectured extensively to various medical, legal, insurance and rehabilitation groups throughout North America. He is also widely published, including co-editing Butterworths' Personal Injury Practice Manual.
Bernard is currently a Director of the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario and he is a former director of, and counsel to the Canadian Brain Injury Coalition and the Ontario Brain Injury Association. He is also involved with many other corporations and insurance companies.
He has always been a staunch advocate for the rights of injured persons and provides executive and financial support many non-profit organizations across Ontario. His philanthropy is well-known and he frequently organizes events for people with brain and spinal cord injuries.
Within the firm, Bernard is personally involved in most of the serious cases as well as taking an advisory position on most other cases, by providing insight and ensuring each client receives maximum compensation structured according to the specific needs of the client.
