BRINGS OVER 12 YEARS of professional experience in therapeutic programming and intervention. Rich is also widely recognized for is involvement in Therapeutic Recreation which actively promotes recreation for people with physical disabilities. With his specialized training in teamwork and effective communication styles he brings a proven ability to teach and mentor and does so through university lectures and peer support. His educational accomplishments include; Honours Therapeutic Recreation Diploma, Georgian College, 2000, Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies, Brock University, 1999.
As a rehab consultant, Rich assists newly injured individuals with S.C.I. through information, resources and life skills to aid in their coping and adjustment to achieve independence, self−reliance and full community participation.
Rich has successfully developed and implemented adapted sport programs and is very involved with the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing−Ontario the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario, Peer Support Program and the Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association.
As well as showing opportunities to become actively involved in the community, Rich's consultations have proven invaluable for survivors and their families in bringing understanding and best possible recovery of lifestyle.
