The Cardinal Carter Wing hosted the grand re-opening of St. Michael's Hospital's new Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit, now renamed the Allen T. Lambert Trauma and Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit. Gluckstein & Associates LLP as one of the donors has proudly sponsored the Waiting Lounge for families at this facility.

I was at St. Michael's earlier this week for my Mom's hip replacement surgery, and was thrilled to see the Gluckstein & Associates' sponsored Waiting Room on the 9th floor.

What a great impression the room left with me. Spending several hours on the 9th floor waiting for my mother during surgery was incredibly difficult as that floor was also for head injuries. It was a trip down a memory lane I wasn't expecting, and made me quite weepy to see the injured and the stresses on family and friends who were there supporting their own. I guess I'll never really get over what we went through.

It was really nice to see the support your office is giving back.
