We’ve Still Got You Covered: BIAPH’s 2nd Annual Health Advocates Education Conference

Gluckstein Lawyers is a proud sponsor of the Brain Injury Association of Peel Halton’s 2nd Annual Health Advocates Conference on October 28, 2020. The theme of this year’s conference is “What You’re Missing: Practical Tips and Strategies from Industry Professionals.” The conference will feature speakers and panelists from the legal, insurance and healthcare industries, including experienced and knowledgeable therapists, insurance adjusters and legal professionals.

Jonathan Burton & Jordan Assaraf from our office will be speaking on “The LAT Process and how it impacts client benefits and the delivery of health care.” The presentation will focus on the LAT’s purpose, some problematic areas and failings, and how these failings hurt accident victims as they attempt to access health care and rehabilitation services.

Check out this video message from Jonathan Burton and Jordan Assaraf.

The Goal

The conference’s goal is to promote the importance of continuous learning to advance our client’s interests. We appreciate the value that various professions can contribute to rehabilitation advancement that facilitates access to resources and funding.

We invite you to attend this unique learning experience that will use a multidisciplinary approach to bridge gaps in knowledge and provide helpful and practical tips and strategies on effectively advocating for clients and assisting in ensuring that funding for treatment is provided.
