What Is the Omnipod System?

The Omnipod System, manufactured by Insulet Corporation, includes products such as the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System, Omnipod 5 Pod, Omnipod DASH, Omnipod DASH Pods, and Omnipod Insulin Management System / Omnipod Eros pods. These systems are designed to provide continuous insulin delivery for diabetes management.

What Are the Alleged Problems With the Omnipod System?

The Omnipod systems are subject to allegations of a manufacturing defect involving a tear in the internal tubing or a compromise of the insulin fluid path.
