Why is Beament Green changing its name to Beament Hebert Nicholson LLP?

The late great Bill Green has not been a member of our firm for over a decade. While we feel we must preserve the roots of the firm that the Beament family founded in 1877, Beament Hebert Nicholson LLP better reflects our current partnership structure which Michael Hebert and Derek Nicholson have worked tirelessly to create for over 55 combined years. It is common for law firms to periodically update their names to reflect their current leaders. Our own firm has gone through several transitions during our nearly 140 year history.

Was Beament Green sold to another firm? Did they buy another firm? Is this some kind of merger?

No. This is a change in name and partnership structure only. Our location and legal team remain exactly the same.

I am your client. Do I need to do anything?

No. Beament Hebert Nicholson LLP is a change in name only and your legal team has not changed at all. We will continue to deliver the excellent service to which you are accustomed.

What does LLP mean?

Beament Hebert Nicholson is a Limited Liability Partnership. While this does not change the type of law we practice or the type of insurance we carry, it is a more common type of law practice structure that reflects our current partnership structure.

Do I need to resend any correspondence to Beament Hebert Nicholson LLP?

No. We will continue to accept any correspondence, including financial instruments or court documents addressed to Beament Green for a transitional period of six months. If you have recently sent a document to Beament Green you do not need to resend it, but please address any future correspondence to our new name.
