Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers is a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual Brainstorming Brain Injury Conference on Friday, June 7, 2013. This conference is being held by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist (OSLA) at the Latvian Canadian Centre in Toronto.
Each year a special guest speaker is chosen and this year's speaker is Dr. Tim Feeney. Dr. Feeney is the Director of the New York State Neurobehavioral Resource Project - Department of Health and Executive Director of the School and Community Support Inc. Not only is Dr. Feeney presenting at this year's conference, he will also be the recipient of the prestigious Dr. Mark Ylvisaker Honourary Lecture Award.
Dr. Feeney's full-day lecture will focus on the topic of community-based intervention. In particular, he will be referencing his work on the importance of supporting individuals with brain injury and significant behavioural challenges to assist them with living successfully in their home communities.
