Head injuries are the number one cause of serious injury and death to kids using bicycles. Learn how a helmet could save your child's life!

Research demonstrates that the use of bike helmets can decrease the risk of brain injury by up to 88%. Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyer's Sandev Purewal, Chair of Peel Region's Helmets on Kids, will be at the launch of the 2010 Peel Region, Helmets on Kids Program at Thornwood Public School in Mississauga on June 9, 2010 at 10:00 am. This event stems from a true community effort. Organizations involved include the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Brain Injury Association of Peel & Halton, the Peel Children's Safety Village, the Region of Peel Health Department and the Peel Regional Police. The project was introduced by the  Ontario Trial Lawyers Association in 2002, with the express goal of donating bicycle helmets, promoting education and awareness on proper helmet use.
