"This Season, Hand the Reins Over to us" is Operation Red Nose's theme for the 2014 Holiday season.
Operation Red Nose was established in 1984 by Jean-Marie De Koninck a mathematics professor at Laval University, whom wanted to change the statistics of impaired driving.
This year marks the 31st campaign for Operation Red Nose and with their over 56,000 volunteers across the country they are sure to make a significant difference. According to their website theme, "This Season, Hand the Reins Over to Us, encourages motorists who had one too many, who are tired or who are simply not able to drive their vehicle to call Operation Red Nose."
Amazingly, last year $1.5 million was raised from clients using this service. Operation Red Nose is provided by donations and 100% of the profits support local youth and amateur sports organizations across Canada.
