This past weekend the Gluckstein Bears led by Charles Gluckstein of Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers were proud to sponsor the SCI Ontario Wheelchair Relay Challenge. Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers have supported this great cause since its inception. The Wheelchair Relay Challenge is an opportunity for people with and without disabilities in our community to join together for a day of fun, inspiring, friendly competition - all in support of people with spinal cord injuries. In Ontario, at least one person sustains a spinal cord injury every day. Thanks to funds raised through the Wheelchair Relay Challenge, SCI Ontario is able to provide much needed customized programs and services giving people the support they need when they need it most.
The team is comprised of their captain, Jordan Assaraf, followed by Charles Gluckstein, Angela Comella, Barb Andrews and teens, Aaron, Jared and Sam. Moral support was received from their fierce leader, Bernard Gluckstein, who has volunteered his time with SCIO for the past 20 years. The Gluckstein team has represented persons with spinal cord injuries for the last 50 plus years and are ecstatic about being able to help support such a wonderful cause.
