Bio.

Gianna provides administrative support within the firm, helping uphold its commitment to compassionate client care and advocacy.

With a background in Paralegal Studies and ongoing certification in Victimology, she combines professionalism and precision with a trauma-informed perspective developed through firsthand experience with victims and direct interaction with Special Victims Unit investigators, family court officials, and child-protection systems.

Beyond her administrative role, Gianna is deeply engaged in national and international advocacy work that continues to shape her compassion for victims and survivors, and her understanding of fellow advocates. Her commitment to justice and human rights has led to her experience being used in the research that contributed to a 2023 global report authored by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Children, which calls for urgent reforms to better protect victims within judicial and child-protection systems.

Gianna has had the privilege of being an invited guest at the Senate of Canada for the passage of Keira's Law, landmark legislation that strengthens protections for victims of domestic violence and their children. She was also invited to the Ontario Legislative Assembly's Standing Committee on Justice Policy, where she spoke on the need for stronger safeguards for victims of violence and for child victims of sexual abuse and assault.

In her own time, she attends national and international forums and conferences focused on domestic violence, the parental-alienation industry, and child-sexual-abuse survivor recovery. She is actively involved in legislative-reform efforts in both Canada and the United States, supporting Bill C-223, the Keeping Children Safe Act, and the Keeping Children Safe from Family Violence Act under the reauthorized American Violence Against Women Act (V AWA).

Gianna is appreciative for the opportunity to contribute to the firm in any capacity, as her personal values and professional goals closely align with its survivor-centered initiatives. She is dedicated to supporting victims affected by systemic failures in family-court and child-protection processes that have exposed children to exploitation and abuse, including child sexual abuse - all of which are among the most egregious forms of personal injury.
