Bio.

Stacy is a medical malpractice lawyer with extensive trial experience in complex medical negligence cases. She brings over 15 years of practical experience having worked on numerous high stakes professional negligence disputes involving birth injuries, surgical errors, delayed diagnoses, and hospital negligence. Stacy also has a wide range of experience in commercial, financial, and public law matters. As former defence counsel at a Bay Street law firm, Stacy brings a strategic, trial-focused approach to all stages of litigation. She has appeared before administrative tribunals, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal. 

Stacy received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she served as a Dean’s Fellow for Civil Procedure and co-founded the Osgoode Health Law Association. She also served on the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors from 2023 to 2024 as the Chair of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Most recently, Stacy founded the Digna Tirado Legacy Scholarship and the Alvarez LSAT Book Bursary, both of which benefit Latin high school students interested in pursuing a career in law. 

Stacy was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance of Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the American Association for Justice.
