This event is another way to help make the voices of survivors heard and find ways to support them on their journey forward.
In Decedent of Survivors, Jacinda, a descendant of 60s Scoop and residential school survivors, reflects on the profound challenges faced by her family. She shares her personal stories of resilience and strength, offering a glimpse into the impact of the historical cycle of abuse. Jacinda explores how understanding the past can pave the way for change, not just in her own life but for others seeking to break free from the chains of generational struggles.
