The Brain Injury Association of Canada (BIAC) is hosting their Annual Conference in Kingston this year. This years conference will be held on September 25-27, at the Ambassador Conference Resort (1550 Princess St. Kingston, Ontario).

This years speakers are attending from across Canada and the United States. The topics are sure to impress, inform and educate the audience. Two of this years keynote speakers are Claire Smith and Shawn O'Sullivan, we have highlighted both of these individuals and their presentations below.

Claire Smith is a Pd.D. Graduate, Canadian Equestrian Team athlete and brain injury survivor. Claires presentation topic is, Who Am I Now: Research as a Step in my Healing Process.

Shawn O'Sullivan is a former Olympic boxer, who since being a world-class athlete suffered repeated serious concussions and suffered the results of that constant trauma. Shawns presentation topic is, "Protect yourself, Protect your future".

Dianne Henderson, Medical Consultant for Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers, will present the topic of Compassion Fatigue together with Anita Sloetjes,mother of ABI survivor, and former client, Benjamin Sloetjes.
