Bowl-a-thon
Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers was proud to sponsor a lane for the 9th Annual Bowl-a-thon presented by the Brain Injury Association of Peel & Halton (BIAPH) which took place on February 27, 2014. This event took place at Classic Bowl in Mississauga.
Our Gluckstein team included Sandev Purewal, Jordan Assaraf, Michael Maiola (articling student) and his wife, and Frank, a former Gluckstein client who is a brain injury survivor.
This was a fantastic event and we were delighted to be involved once again.
Executive Director of the BIAPH, Jorun Rucels, thanked everyone for their support of the event and indicated that the funds raised will be directed to BIAPH's support groups for caregivers and ABI survivors.
BIAPH's mission is to "enhance the quality of life for persons in the region of Peel and Halton who are living with the effects of an acquired brain injury through: EDUCATION, AWARENESS, SUPPORT, ADVOCACY and PREVENTION."
Une Affair de Chocolat
The next BIAPH event is a Social Mix & Mingle fundraiser called Une Affair de Chocolat on May 22, 2014 at the Harbour Banquet & Conference Centre, Bronte Harbour Oakville.
The evening will feature a fabulous buffet style dinner, decadent chocolate desserts, and entertainment, live and silent auctions and fabulous raffle items. As in years past, BIAPH hopes to bring together members of the legal community, the health care community, the insurance industry, brain injury survivors, local businesspersons and politicians to help BIAPH achieve their fundraising goals.
