CACCN 2013 - Review

For many years Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers have supported the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses.

For us, it is always a pleasure to meet and greet nurses from Sunnybrook, St. Mike's, Toronto General, Oakville Trafalgar, Scarborough General, Rouge Valley Centenary, Mount Sinai, Trillium and North York General, hospitals. Our hats go off to the nurses who take part in caring for and saving patients from across Ontario. We have always taken photos of the delegates as well.

Bernie Gluckstein gathered all the delegates at their tables as lunch was coming to an end and took some great shots. The photos can be seen on our Website - https://www.gluckstein.com. It was a thrill for us to renew old friendships and make new.

Julie Mauceri who is part of the Toronto Collaborative Neuroscience Conference Committee presented about "Tri-Hospital GCS Policy". Representatives from St. Mikes, Sunnybrook and Toronto General are attempting to standardize the measurement of the GCS. Not an easy task, as most of us learned after responding with our "magic wands" to many questions that were posed by Julie. We also met Michelle, Minda Salanga's niece. Minda has been a friend for years and now we have had an opportunity to meet the next generation of Salangas. This was a lovely surprise. We had our "Gluckstein Wheel of Fortune" spinning for the day. Lucky delegates went home with special prizes of fashion "bling" or works of art by our former client, Benjamin Sloetjes or "Gluckstein Bears". Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers
