Managing Partner Charles Gluckstein's case AIG Insurance Company of Canada v. Riddell (2025 ONSC 1979) has been featured in the Ontario Reports.

This pivotal case highlights the importance of fairness and flexibility in administrative law, particularly in complex matters involving catastrophic impairment claims. The case revolved around a contested claim of catastrophic impairment and a scheduling dispute with the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).

Despite the tribunal's initial denial of an adjournment request, Charles successfully argued for a judicial review, emphasizing the need to balance institutional concerns with the legitimate interests of the parties. The court ultimately granted a stay, vacated the original hearing dates, and directed the LAT to reschedule on mutually available dates.
